Those are so twentieth-century. Books are ancient. No one reads books anymore. There is so much free information available online today, from blogs to videos. Why would I want to write a book?
There is a process to writing a book and making it successful long term. The hardest part is writing and editing the book.
The Core Process Of Writing A Book
Book Writing Process
It will take time to write the first draft of your book. If you already have an idea of what you want to say and have a rough outline for the book, it may take you only a couple of months to write. If you have said things in past posts or articles that you have written, you could rewrite those posts in a more professionally written way to write a book faster.
Edit Your Book
You can use go back through and self-edit your book. You can edit your book however many times you want. Some of the professional authors I have listened to, some who are New York Times best sellers, recommend about forty drafts. Of course, this will vary depending on the length, writing, and book topic.
You can also use an editing tool like Grammarly to help you find grammar mistakes. It can help to improve the tone in some areas of your writing. There are still some problems with AI editing tools, but they can be helpful when used correctly. They can help to speed up the editing process by highlighting potential problems you want to consider. On the flip side, when you are close to having a finished edit of your book, the tool will still find things that it recommends change. This can make it seem like you are never done editing.
Hire An Editor
You can then hire an editor. You could hire an editor through a freelance website like Fiverr or Upwork. You may know someone who could edit your book. They may have a background in English or better understand grammar than you do. You also research online.
A good editor is critical to have. A great editor can help you improve your book, reorganize parts of your book, and give you a better overall product once you get near an official final draft.
It would help if you decided how you would publish your book. This will help you figure out your next steps.
