The Power Of Focus
Focus is powerful. There are many ways how improving focus can advance your life. Five are explored in this post.
Have you ever wasted an entire day and wondered why you did not accomplish anything? How did that make you feel? You may have felt like a failure. You may have ended up enjoying a relaxing day. If you were trying to be productive, you might have become frustrated with yourself because you did not accomplish anything during your day.

Common Distractions
There are many common distractions. While they are fine in moderation, if they consume all of your available time, they have become a problem. Common distractions include:
Following the news or the current events.
Watching television or streaming shows on Netflix or YouTube.
Wanting always to watch the most recent television series or episode by someone you follow on YouTube.
Sports
Politics
While none of these things are inherently wrong in and of themselves, when you begin to live for entertainment, sports or want to get the latest news update, you have become distracted.

You can never truly accomplish a task without focusing on multiple things simultaneously. Instead of directing all your energy, time, and attention to complete one task, it is dispersed among many tasks. This means it will take longer to finish a project you are working on than solely focusing on completing one task at a time.
This is why focusing on one task at a time is critical.
